a snail eating fly!!!

Have you ever heard of such a thing?

Neither had I.  Until that is I researched a recent image I'd shot indoors.  I discovered it was a marsh fly, also known as a snail-eating fly!  I've no idea what it was doing in my house then, as even as slow as I am these days I can't be described as a snail!
