strange

Unfortunately my pain levels have increased significantly over the last few days meaning I have to eat more morphine.

So what I hear you ask.

Well, I'll let you into a little secret.

Last night I sailed my ship around the South Seas, seagulls overhead, salt spray lashing the deck, my bunk pitching and rolling with the swell.  I watched the sails billowing in the wind and heard the ropes creaking as they strained against the ship's sides.

Only of course none of this actually happened.  It's all down to the morphine. An hallucination.

I didn't dream it as I was very much awake, and it went on all night until I finaly gave in and had to text my sister in Florida to tell her all about it.  Bizarrely, they were in the middle of a very real thunderstorm.

Anyway, I think the reason for the subject of my very realistic hallucination was the derring do story of Ernest Shackleton I read a day or so earlier.

So I've spent all day today reading about Megan Fox.

  1. So sorry to hear your pain is worse...and I hear ya'! I didn't like the morphine either. And just a little tip from a former 'user'....trying to program what your brain is going to hallucinate about.....doesn't work. Nice try though! ;)
