vive le resolutions

I'm not one for New Year's resolutions.  Can't remember the last one I made let alone stuck to.

But my New Year's resolution this year was to have some resolutions (hope you're keeping up) so I can have some sort of plan to adhere to for the next 12 months.

So they are:

1. to photograph the first sunrise and last sunset of 2016 from the same place (see below)

2. to enter the UK Landscape Photographer of the Year competition

3. to enter the Amateur Photographer of the Year monthly competition every month

4 to design and build a website.

I guess you could call these projects rather than resolutions but hey ho.

Anyway, I'm halfway through the first one already!  Here's the first (unfortunately rather cloudy) dawn of 2016 from Bracelet Bay.
