industrural

I just invented a new word!  It encapsulates one of this week's images perfectly - a rather industrial looking bridge in an otherwise beautiful rural location!

The images below were shot on the Baran Mountain, high above Pontardawe in the Swansea Valley.  The first one caught my eye because of the mix of engineering, both man-made and natural.

Fujifilm GFX50R, Fujinon GF 23mm f4
7/10th of a second @ f16, ISO 100
tripod, self-timer release
Haida Circular Polarising Filter, Kood 3-stop Neutral Density Filter

This second image, of a side stream, is a much more classical rural one.

Fujifilm GFX50R, Fujinon GF 100-200mm f5.6 @ 100mm
7/10th of a second @ f16, ISO 100
tripod, self-timer release
Haida Circular Polarising Filter, Kood 3-stop Neutral Density Filter

Industrural.  I wonder if it'll catch on?

My latest YouTube video looks at how I made the image of the bridge.  You can watch, and wonder whether I fall in the river or not, by clicking below.
