I really need this
I've just spent a huge sum of money on a piece of light metal. £300 to be precise. And what is this object? An artwork? A special tool? Some really useful item?
No.
It's a tilting and rotating adapter to go in between my camera and its viewfinder!
Now, this might seem like an extravagance, and if I were a "normal" person with standard movement and ability I'd agree. But I'm not - I am crippled with back pain which makes bending or getting to low-down situations difficult or sometimes impossible even.
What the device does then, is allow me to move my camera's viewfinder into a much better and more comfortable position for me, and for that reason the exorbitant price becomes a little more palatable. It also has some electrical wizardry built in as my camera has an electronic viewfinder (so a tiny TV in reality) which makes the pricing more realistic.
It's still a very expensive bit of technology though, but what price comfort and the ability to enjoy my hobby in a less painful manner?
Aren't new 'toys' fun? Enjoy!
