a frosty reception
Being only a couple of miles from the coast, we don't get many freezing cold, icy days here. And now when we do I have to be extra careful when out and about. It was on such a day as this nearly three years ago now that I fell and broke some ribs; an accident I'm fairly sure led to me myeloma relapsing.
Anyway, a trip to the front garden can't be that dangerous, can it?
And I'm glad I went out (without the aid of a safety net) for a look as I spotted this tiny, frozen mushroom covered in a hoar frost and nestled deep among the grass and weeds that now make up my once perfectly manicured lawn.
I think I prefer them actually!
