so glad I did this

Back in November of last year I wrote about the reasons for ditching my old Apple Magic Mouse and replacing it with a Logitech one.

And after two months or so of use I can report that it's one of the best computing decisions I've ever made.  The battery is still going strong and I can now carry on using it while it's charging; the very thing I couldn't do with the Apple device and which led to the switch.

Its ergonomics are also so much better and the USBC charging port makes life so much easier. Well, it does now that I've bought a Logitech keyboard to go with it.

While it's also much nicer to type on, with a deeper keystroke action it's also illuminated, making using it in the dark less of a strain on my eyes.

But the main advantage I've found is that with a simple button press, I can use my mouse and keyboard with my Mac Mini, my MacBook Pro or my iPad Air, meaning the latter two devices can be used while plugged into my monitor.

It really has been a revelation, and my only regret is not having made the switch before I actually did!
