Anyway, we have daisies growing in our front lawn which is a rare old novelty for us, and I wanted to photograph them, obviously.

For this image I placed my camera on the (thankfully bone dry) ground and shot the daisy through some grass in the foreground.  Focusing on the daisy and shooting at f2.8 ensured the foreground and background were thrown into a blur, giving the subject a dreamy look.

I like it anyway!
