Following from Saturday's bonus post of a caterpillar curled up on a leaf, I've gone and done it again.

This time, while weeding some pots in the back garden I spotted this little snail fast asleep on a leaf.  Well, I hope he was just asleep and not, you know, (whisper it...) d.e.a.d.!!

Anyway, asleep, deceased or not, snails being snails I was able to take my time and shoot a nine image focus bracket stacked later in post processing.

I would have preferred to have got the snail "on a third" and not slap bang in the middle of the frame, but this was all I had to work with so...
