hold on just a gosh darned moment

Only the other day you told us all that spring was here.  So, what's with another largely brown, autumnal image of some fallen detritus I hear you all shout.

Well, I've no idea!

But at time of writing our weather has transformed from lovely spring sunshine and warm temperatures to freezing cold, windy days with the odd hailstorm.

Now, while there are signs of spring, with buds doing what they do, grass growing and the birds tweeting as they find nesting spots to hopefully rear a brood of chicks, while out with Dexter and Douglas the other day and passing a small area of trees and bushes, we spotted some fallen horse chestnuts along with a seed head of some sort lying in some leaf litter.

Thankfully where they'd ended up being blown was now out of any wind, enabling a slow, steady focus bracket of eight shots to produce the "anti-spring" image you see below!
