sharpness schmarpness
I take a lot of sharp images. Sometimes I focus bracket and stack my shots to ensure even more sharpness.
But there are times when a far more artistic approach is needed (see my "Wall Art" post from a couple of weeks ago). While shooting those "poster" images, I also grabbed a load more shots that I have really enjoyed looking at.
So I figured I'd share some of my favourites with you all. NB, all bar one were shot on my Nikon Z6 and Petzval modified (see here) Helios 44-2 lens set at its widest f2 aperture. ISO was glued at 100 and the shutter speed is whatever it was!
This last image was shot on my Olympus OM-D E-M1 and 100-400mm lens. I included it because it was an accidental grab! I was trying to photograph a winged insect on a cosmos bud, but missed the shot. This isn't a bad second prize though I hope you agree?
