spur of the moment

I had to take my car into the garage last month.  Nothing unusual in that, but due to Covid I had to drop it in there at 7am!

So, what to do after getting up at that time?

Go off to the coast to take a photograph of course.  Although it was too late to catch sunrise (just), with the recent high tide retreating I figured a visit to Limeslade Bay, which would still be in the shadow of the rising sun, would be worthwhile.

I love two things about this image: the really soft light, and that it looks like everything is converging on a sort of vanishing point on the horizon.
