fine art minimalism

More shots from Bracelet Bay this week sorry.

Back at the start of October I was at a loose end after a planned bike ride was cancelled, so camera in hand I went down to Mumbles where I planned some long exposure, arty minimalistic type photography.

The tide was going out (I triple checked!!) but even so I donned my long wellington boots as I didn't fancy cold, wet feet while shooting 30-60 second exposures.

These are a doddle on my Fujifilm cameras as they have a really useful inbuilt timer so there's no need to time the exposure on a phone or watch making for greater accuracy.

Anyway, I shot two images, but can't decide whether they're better as colour or monochrome.  What do you think?  I've shown one in colour and the other in black and white to help you (and me to be honest) to decide.

  1. I always lean towards B&W for evocative photos.....just my humble opinion. ;)
