worth keeping

While I'm not exactly a hoarder, if I can keep hold of something I might find useful in the future then I will.

And I extend this philosophy to the raw files I record with my cameras.

I've a library going right back to my first digital camera bought in 2007 and as digital storage is so cheap it's no real hardship to keep hold of them.

I've found this a bit of a godsend during lockdown.  Unable to get out I find myself trawling through my archives to find interesting images I've taken and then largely ignored in the past.

I didn't have to look back too far for this image.  August 2020 to be precise.  I'd gone to Ystradfellte to photograph the barn I love there so much.  But before doing that, I'd pointed my camera at the distant peaks of the Brecon Beacons to record a lovely late summer sunset.

Then, in that lull between Christmas and New Year I resurrected it, made a quick edit and here it is.  Proof positive that you shouldn't throw anything that might one day have value away!
