under the boardwalk
Down by the seeee eeee yeaaah...
And last night (25 April) conditions were finally favourable so off I ventured to get my shot. I really wish I hadn't - for two reasons.
Firstly, the shot isn't all that, and secondly the exertion of getting there was really too much for me and this morning I am suffering in extreme pain which is making me sick.
Lovely.
I really must learn to stay within my limits and not do too much. It'll kill me one day!
Anyway, it wasn't a complete waste of an evening, as we did see a lovely old pump on the beach, encrusted with rust and barnacles. I wonder how long it has been there?
And I also got a reasonably OK shot of the sunset at Limeslade Bay.
Here are this week's rather meagre offerings.

One thing I particularly like about the under the pier shot, is the way it tells the story of the structure. All those years of being attacked by salt water leaving it encrusted with a beautiful and natural patina.
And in my latest YouTube extravaganza you can find out what I look for when I try to tell a story with one of my landscape images.
The 'Under the Pier" shot is very interesting! Although I'm sorry it cost you so much in exertion. :(
