spring has sprung
Well, spring is nearly over and the summer upon us.
Anyway, for this week's post, I want to take you back a week or so when my family and I made the short drive to Parkmill on Gower to see the bluebells in the woodland there.
My last visit here (pre-covid) left me dismayed as large swathes of the bluebells had been trampled by, would you believe it, some Boy Scouts. You would have thought their pack leader would have instilled a love and a sense of preservation for this delicate environment.
But no.
Luckily this time around there was no large-scale destruction of the woodland floor, only some small areas that had been flattened probably by picnickers. In fact, the sight that greeted me actually took my breath away. You can witness this experience by watching the video linked below.
