ever wondered where bees keep their pollen

In their saddlebags of course!

Three pictures from the little blighters busily harvesting what they can while the sun shines, and storing it away in what look like cycling pannier or saddlebags on their legs.

All images shot handheld (at 1/640th of a second, f5, ISO 200) with the OM System 90mm f3.5 macro lens on my Olympus OM-D E-M1 mark 2 camera, a set-up that is quickly becoming a favourite of mine in the garden.
