now that's what I call a portrait

This my friends is what a robber fly looks like close up!  Pretty little thing, isn't it?  Actually don't answer that!

I spotted this one on the table on my patio and was hoping to get a multi-shot focus bracket showing the eyes and the fly's prominent proboscis.  But (yes, you guessed) it flew away after just two shots were fired off.
