it's been too long

There's one thing I know you all want to see.  Something I've not shown for some time: a photograph of the lighthouse at Mumbles!

Yes, yes, I know I've displayed dozens of images of it on here.  But for very good reason.  I think it makes for an excellent photo.

And being at the coast, there is always something different happening.  Tides and weather conditions are ever changing, and there are literally countless wave formations to capture.

This week's image is from January of 2020 and was taken from the small beach under Mumbles Pier.

I love the cloud formation and wanted to kind of mirror it in the foreground, not in the form of a reflection (that simply wasn't possible) but in a more abstract way by lengthening the exposure time, and timing the exposure to coincide with a retreating wave.

See, photography is more than just point and shoot.  A little thought is involved.
