another one ticked off then

It's Christmas.  Again!

I wrote this time last year that I hoped covid would be either long gone or that we'd have learned to live with it. How forlorn was that?

It seems that far from being in that position, new variants are putting us on the back foot again.  Not that the behaviour of our wonderful leaders would have you think that mind.

Oh well.  Like I said last year, it's time to forget about all the woes in the World right now, enjoy the holiday season and hope once again that this time next year will be much better.

To cheer you up, here's a picture of me from Christmas 1991 dressed as children's TV superstar Andy Pandy.  This wasn't for the office party* or anything like that, I just liked wearing the outfit...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

* Actually, it was for the office party and the evening ended strangely.  Two friends (one dressed as Looby Lou from the Andy Pandy TV show and another as a leprechaun = of course) got on the wrong chartered bus home.

This resulted in a very tipsy near 3 mile stagger home along a deserted country road in full costume in the early hours of a Saturday morning.

Surprisingly no one stopped to give us a lift.  In fact, we nearly caused three accidents!
