the same but different…honest

A coastal triptych for this post.

With rain forecast for the next few days, I made a mid-October dash to beat it down to Limeslade Bay in Mumbles.  I shot these three images without having to move more than 20 feet or so for each one.  Perfect for my current state!

All were shot with the GF 23mm f4 lens on my Fujifilm GFX100 body on its tripod along with a Haida circular polarising filter to remove any glare and reflections, and a Kood 3-stop neutral density filter to give me a longer exposure to capture the patterns in the retreating waves.  I used the camera's built-in timer to expose the images.

Anyway, see if you can spot:

a) the difference, and

b) the polar bear!

In the corresponding YouTube adventure, I look at these and other images I shot at Mumbles.  Click below to watch.  Go on.  DO IT - NOW!

And as if that's not enough, watch this video where I transform an image from this shoot that I might otherwise have discarded into something quite presentable:

  1. I like the third one best. I think it's the color of the sea that gets me. :)
