a sudden burst of energy
Normally by around 6pm I'm exhausted, in a deal of pain and just about ready for bed.
Wednesday evening just come was not a normal one. I had a burning desire to get outdoors (normal) but also the feeling that I could actually do it for once (really abnormal)!
So, camera in hand we all went down to Swansea Bay for me to grab a subset image (of rather average quality) and for Douglas to make his first ever visit to the beach. We have been unable to take him until now because of a local by-law prohibiting dogs being allowed on out=r beaches until 1st October.
He loved it, and so did I. And yes, we both slept really well!

Of course, such an occasion demanded filming both for its rarity and to squeeze every single drop of entertainment from the situation.
