any mushroom can be eaten...

...some just once, that's all!

In all seriousness, you should never eat a mushroom in the wild unless you are 100% certain that it won't harm you.  Or cause you to turn on, tune in and drop out!

Here is an example of a mushroom that you simply must not eat - ever.  It's called a panther cap and as the name suggests it can be harmful.  You have been warned!

Fujifilm X-M5, Fujinon 30mm f2.8 Macro
1/60th of a second at f8
tripod, self-timer release
8-shot focus bracket stacked in Helicon Focus

The eagle-eyed among you might notice the different camera used for this image.  I'd taken my Fujifilm X-M5 (which usually resides in my studio here) to test out at Gnoll Park to see if I could use it as a walking and talking vlogging camera.

Only I couldn't.  Test it that is.  There was so much construction work going on at the park that even in the parts furthest away from it I could reach, you could still hear lorries, etc. reversing and machinery being operated.

I'll take it somewhere quite next time.
