a double a-side
Anyone else reading here remember the days of the 7" 45RPM single?
Bands, or an artist, would release their latest track (the "A" side) together with another song, hopefully one that hadn't been released on an album before (the "B" side). And sometimes, both tracks were equally as worthy of a single release so the band would release a "Double-A" side.
Are you still with me?
Anyway, to get to the point, in all my years photographing leaves I usually have a side, or face, that I prefer. It's rare that both sides are as enchanting as each other. But in the case of this week's images, they just are. I couldn't choose a favourite, so I've released my very own Double A-side record... I mean image.

Remember 45s well, still have some hidden away in a cupboard.
ReplyDeleteAs well double A sides, some B sides proved more popular than the A side, e.g. We Will Rock You, a fairly well known ditty from the 70s.
