meanwhile, looking the other way

Back at the end of October we had some really quite spectacular post rainstorm sunsets - about 4 days on the trot.

Sadly, I was not in any fit state to go anywhere to photograph them.  But looking northeast from my lounge window (so, directly opposite the setting sun) I spotted Drummau Mountain over Birchgrove, and the setting sun had lit it and the clouds over it up beautifully.

Trouble is, it is quite far away, and even with my 100-400mm lens fully extended, getting anything really detailed is a struggle.  So, I decided to shoot a (hand held) panorama leading to, when stitched together, a really high resolution image.
